  Every laser hair removal journey at Buff & Bare begins with a thorough consultation, whether you are completely new to laser or have previously had treatment elsewhere. This is an important part of our commitment to providing every client with the same high standard of care, safety and attention to detail. Your consultation allows us to understand your individual goals, assess your hair growth, skin and treatment area, review any relevant medical history and discuss what you can realistically expect from your treatment. We will explain how laser hair removal works, recommend a personalised treatment plan and give you the opportunity to ask any questions. A patch test will also be carried out to help us establish safe and appropriate treatment settings for your skin and hair.

For all our laser treatments, we recommend arriving freshly wet-shaved at home before your laser appointment, as this is generally more comfortable for your skin and allows for the best treatment preparation. However, we understand that some areas can be difficult to reach or shave yourself, so we offer an optional shaving service (£20) where needed.

We will explain how electrolysis works, what to expect from your treatment journey and the commitment required to achieve the best possible results. Together, we will create a personalised treatment plan based on your individual hair growth and needs. A small test treatment will also be carried out during your consultation. This allows us to assess how your skin responds to electrolysis and how it begins to recover, while helping us determine appropriate treatment settings for future appointments. Every electrolysis appointment at Buff & Bare follows our complete treatment protocol. We begin by thoroughly cleansing and preparing the skin before treating unwanted hairs using electrolysis.
